Send Invoice via Shopify confirmation email

This method allows you to enhance your customer communication by embedding a secure invoice access link directly within Shopify order confirmation emails along with invoice attachment. With this setup, GST Pro integrates seamlessly with your Shopify notification system enabling automatic inclusion of invoice links and invoice attachment in customer confirmation emails.
Step 1: Copy the GST Pro Code Snippet
Navigate to:
GST Pro → Email → Send via Shopify → Invoice → Generate Snippet.
Copy the provided code snippet. This snippet is responsible for generating and displaying the invoice link within Shopify emails.
Step 2: Access Shopify Email Notifications
Log in to your Shopify admin panel and go to:
Settings → Notifications → Customer Notifications
This section manages all automated emails sent to customers.
Step 3: Edit the Order Confirmation Template
• Select Order Confirmation from the list.
• Click on Edit Code to open the email template editor.
This is where you will integrate the GST Pro snippet.
Step 4: Insert the Code in the Correct Location
Within the code editor:
Locate the section around:
{% endcapture %}followed by<!DOCTYPE html>Paste the copied GST Pro snippet just above
{% endcapture %}
Placing the code in this exact position ensures proper rendering of the invoice link within the email template.
Step 5: Save and Test the Configuration
After updating the template:
Click Save.
Use Preview → Send Test Email.
This allows you to verify that the invoice link appears correctly and functions as expected before going live.
