Send GST Invoices on WhatsApp with Wavy

How it works

Wavy and GST Pro are connected behind the scenes. When Wavy sends an order message that includes an invoice, it asks GST Pro for the PDF of that order, and GST Pro renders it with your current invoice template. Your customer receives on WhatsApp exactly the invoice you would have printed or emailed.

There is nothing to enable inside GST Pro. Installing Wavy on the same store is the only step on the GST Pro side.

Wavy can attach any of the documents GST Pro generates:

• Tax invoice

• Credit note (refund)

• Estimate (draft order)

• Packing slip

Setting it up

1. Install Wavy from the Shopify App Store on the store where GST Pro is installed.

2. Connect your WhatsApp Business number in Wavy and complete its onboarding.

3. In Wavy, create or edit the automation for the event you want (for example order confirmation or order fulfilment) and add the GST Pro invoice as an attachment.

4. Place a test order and check that the message arrives with the PDF.

Triggers, message templates, timing and the customer opt-in are all managed in Wavy. GST Pro only supplies the document.

Where to find Wavy inside GST Pro

• Automation → Whatsapp Automation card: a short description and a View on Shopify App Store button.

• Settings → Integrations → Wavy WhatsApp: the same link with an Install Wavy button.

• Home → Send via Whatsapp takes you to the Automation card.

Good to know

• The invoice PDF Wavy sends is generated on demand, so it always reflects your current template and the order's latest state.

• Email automation in GST Pro keeps working as before. You can run email and WhatsApp side by side.
