How to Collect Customer/B2B GST Number in Cart page.

Capturing theGST NumberandCompany Nameon the cart page is essential for accurate B2B transactions and compliant invoicing. GST Pro provides an easy-to-useapp embed featurethat automatically adds these fields to your cart page without any manual coding.Once enabled, customers can enter their GST details directly on thecart pagebefore proceeding to checkout. These details are then captured and used by GST Pro to ensure accurate B2B invoicing.

From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes

Select your active theme and click Customize.

Navigate to App Embeds within the theme editor. Enable “Collect Customer GST”

Expand the settings if required to review or adjust field options.

After enabling the feature, GST Pro automatically displays GST-related fields (such as GST Number and Company Name) on the cart page. Customers can fill in these details before checkout and the information is captured and linked to the order and customer profile.
